GunGame5 Fix...

hey Guys,

Just to let you all know im working with some mates on a fix for gungame5 as you all may or may not know gungame5 has errors in it when it either tries to give dead players weapons via gg_turbo.

Either given a weapon to a player, leveling up, or a weapon check. This ususlly cased the server to crash as it cant give dead players weapons?

I will keep you posted on how we go.

I know tell me about, its not firm yet but they are at least going to look at it. If we can fix it up then you can say goodbye crashing server and hello crash free gungame lol

Ok ive found out some information about it, what is happening is when gungame is crashing its actually crashing with eventscripts.

He looked at the gungame5 log and apprently its a common bug. Sometimes gungame5 interfers with eventscripts and overides it then causes the crash because of the overide. He said mayb suggested to install gungame5 first... then eventscripts.

Ill pass on anything new. we are still working on it.

yeah but the problem is gungame is trying to override eventscipts and of course eventscripts doesnt like it so it crashes the server we are seeing what we can do to fix it at the moment. will keep you all informed.

Isn't gungame 5 ESP?
It needs eventscripts to run...Doesnt matter what order you install them in. the files will still be the same before you load the mod.

Is it ESP or ESS?

Pretty sure I've fixed the memory leak too... could fix the whole crashing problem :O going to test it out when Geoff gets on.

I don't believe giving the weapons to dead players is a problem at all...

Ok guys got some more info for you...

Apparently there is around 1.600 errors in gungame5 in total (LMAO), now ive spoken to the guys and they said there is about 6 hours worth of work to fix it up. ill see what we can do?

Shoot, slow down on all the posts pyro, get the solution and post it maybe. Mutant is currently in touch with the guy who wrote it and if anyone can sort it then those two can
