Whatchu mean most of this list is mainstream? Most are like pre 2000, only mainstream here would be slipknot and metallica man, and they aren't even THAT mainstream. All I see is good rock/metal.

Just about every song has been in the top20 charts at some point in time, making it "mainstream" of the era it was made... Yes boogie, there once was a time when heavy metal WAS mainstream... None of this sparkly faggotry that passes for pop culture these days...
