UAI = Universities Admission Index, you need a certain mark to get into subjects at uni. In NSW at least, not sure what it's like in the rest of Australia

yeah, its TCE or VCE for vic which is points, then turns into your TER - Tertiary Entrance Rank.

Doesn't mean much tbh, most courses are piss easy to get into unless you do something hardcore like medicine
