Ah yeah Quoth, just a wee bit of bandwidth =P We'll have to work out another way to do it. That, or plan an international (and I say international because NZ is international) LAN a year or two in advance so people have plenty of time to save for it =D

Yeah the webcam thing wont happen at this years nz lan, its at a no internet house. May be able if someones got a webcam to do some recording to hard drive and upload bits later though.

Yeah to the various costs involved. I had to take the Friday off to transport the trestle tables and chairs and to organise the other bits and pieces involved and set up. Petrol was severe, with multiple 90k and 110k trips, then everything had to be returned of course. I also spent over $300 on groceries to feed the horde. Multiple posts earlier stipulating a fee 0f $50 each didnt seem to help much.

Three guys gave me the $50

Trouble is I was pretty broke before the LAN, and I outlayed $760 all up. ALL that money was for the benefit of others apart from the food I ate myself. The double whammy for me is that the first day back after the LAN I got layed off. I am now missing that $760 pretty badly.

Things will have to be done differently next year.

bit of an improvement, just got a call from a crew to start work, so thats good. Trouble is that its doing some painting at a school where I had a rather torrid affair with a cleaner there this time last year. Shes fkn wild as, so I hope she not there doing cleaning b4 schoolgoes back lol lol

i sent through some money via the donate for the server the other night which is to cover myself and a lil bit for the server man so check that out. geoff knows about it, grab some cash from what i put in, its what its for.

def sort it out next year where everyone needs to put in some money before hand or something like that. just to cover initial costs. im sure that local IGA got some good business out of us, especially with my grape fanta purchase but yeah we spent a bit on food as well so damn we must have gone through a shitload!!

I have got to read posts more closely! o_O Completely missed any posts on costs. Okay, Friday after next, I'll dump $50 in the DOA bank account for Fods. I have no money left out of this pay if I want to eat this fortnight lol, it all went on phone bill and other moneys that I'm owing. And I've already given Mum board. Can't really ask for $50 of it back =P
