Age of Chivalry

Hey Guys,

I know it has been round awhile now but Age of Chivalry is really cool, It's a Melee combat where you fight with longswords and long bows and that sort of old skool weaponary.

My real question is as i have heard nothing as to if the guys want help for servers etc.. Was wondeing if it was worthwhile to get a age of chiv server and how many slot would you like??????

I haven't yet played it, few people tell me it's crap, some say it's cool.

But not sure about branching out in to other games as of yet,
will have to get fodder, Geoff and 7th's opinion on this.

I'd prefer TF2 or Hidden, but that's just me.

No worries i want some peoples input into the matter

The only reason was as there are not many age of chiv servers which is annoying and you get to many people stacking teams and thought it might of been a way to get DOA out there..

I played Age of Chivalry, imo I think is crap,
I'd rather play Hidden on Atari format for 3435 hours than play this shit for 5 min.

MAN chivalry is sooooo good, im in love with it. Mclaggin, Manx, Camo, Suicide Machine, 7thlegion, spoon are the people i have been playing it with..
ALL thinks its cool, a server is a great idea. EVEN so i think we need a clan namefor chivalry. ANY ideas people?

After chatting with Camo last night and asking him to convince of the game's greatness, I decided to post here and get more opinions.

Pretty much what Camo said was - The game isn't fast because of 'realism' - It is pretty much whoever gets there first who wins because there isn't much variety / No skill (Although he said there is skill).

Does not sound good to me, this is how I interpreted it Camo sorry. =/

Yea, i played it for like 15mins last night, obviously you cant understand a whole game in 15mins i found it pretty boring.

Well me thinks it is fun for good clean easy poonage and playing as a team with objectives being either attack or defence is something i thoroughly enjoyed playing with spoon mclaggin camo Viprus Jebus my magic mirror broke can't remember who else.
It is good fun and yes skill is needed otherwise u will get stabbed slashed Arrowed through head or my Fave DECAPITATED or maybe catapults. Anyways i am all for a clan on AOC and will thouroughly enjoy pooning with the newbs who help me

All i can say, is that i am throwing something out there and i am now getting reports from people that it is the gayest thing ever..

i respect peoples opinion but if you could add a reason it would be nice.

In reply to you Crunch. All i can say is that you have to try it. I know i didn't explain it well, but it is really quite fun and strategic. There are various objectives in the game e.g on one map which some of you may know as Helms Deep if you have ever played the map in cs or cs:s. If you spawn as Mason Order. You are on the attack. To finish your objectives you have to use various things like Siege Towers to breach walls and battering rams to breach gates. Where as if you spawn as a Agathian Knight, your objective is to defend, the breaching of the walls and the breaching of the gate and so on. In other maps it reverse's and the Knights are on the attack and Mason is defending. There are also various catapults to be used as well.

And the reason i thought of getting a Age of Chivalry server was because there are 4000 servers of TF2 and we would be just another server, Don't know how many are in hidden. And there are only about 7 servers in Age of Chivalry. I thought it wouldve been a good way to get DOA out there into other games as everyone plays in different games and wears there respective tag,

And if the server is not going to be affiliated wtih DOA is it still ok to form another clan just for Age Of Chivalry and get a server but advertise the DOA Gun game servers within it?

Camo is one of a few that enjoy it with respects to gameplay there is strategy teamwork and good fun it takes time to hone skills in the game and it takes timing and strategy to succeed not where in Css u run around shoot shit and keep shooting shit u have stamina and lose it for real

Ok you can't keep everyone happy if u don't like it opinion is good but criticism is just plain stupid if you ain't gunna have the patience to have a go leave it alone and enjoy what u like to play and have fun doing it but i gotta say playing last couple of nights with the boys was alot of fun
