Ok Guys Time to Step UP

Lately the current service provider for our mighty GG servers is failing us Epically so i am Suggesting we move providers and Also shift the responsibility of financial burdens from Geoff and Fodder it is time to show your loyalty and maturity in providing a clan server and war server AS A CLAN not just from 2 ppl we have a fairly large clan and am sure we can support ourselves TOGETHER as a whole now even though Fodder and Geoff pay for our fun it is time to step Mainly Captains and others with the role of support in our clan BUT ALL are Welcome to contribute.

Firstly The servers could be provided By epicservers.net now there prices are :-

So each slot is 4.50/ 4.00 for each on public/ private

Optional Extras:
100 Tickrate(+$10/per month)
500 FPS Setting (+$10/per month)
1000 FPS Setting (+$25/per month)
EpicServers.net | Branding Removal (+$15/once off)


Ok with that choose and suggest and tell what u would contribute but i think we can provide what we have now comfortably and am happy to pay with my credit card but not all so a little help would go along way By no means do i want leadership or ownership of an established clan just think it is time to share the burden of running a clan

UNderstood what the 100 tick means, but what is the 500 and 1000 fps rate for? Is that for a remote view?

Also is it possible to get a 22/24 slot?

Ps, why did the bank say it was bounced? Account not active, account doesnt exist or the fodder stripper fund is currently full and not accepting any more donations?

This may be the clan we are in but it is NOT our clan to control as a captain i have been given the privilage to administer the server and it's players but decisions like this Should finally rest on the owners of the clan, not the army.
We run in blindly on command of our leaders as soldiers for our generals but make suggestions in a diplomatic society

HAHA, I was having the same problem. Thanks for clearing that up. I agree with skip. On helping out Geoff and Fodder. I will setup my netbank to deposit 60 a month into the account for the servers.

Okay, had a look at the epicservers webpage and the costs would be:

This is including the 100 Tick Rate and Branding Removal for the server.

Standard GG Server:

For the Scrim Server:
Slot Cost
10 $65
12 $73
14 $81

My suggestion would be to get the 22 slot standard server at least (we have been full on a number of occasions recently). Along with possible the 12 slot private server for scrim? However dont know if this is the right amount of slots for scrimming, it would allow 6v6 matches which come up every once in a while.

So all up the costs per month are approx $200 for the standard and scrim server.

Will also be setting up net bank for 10 a week or so. So about $4 a month after currency conversion

but remember the branding removal is only a once of. those prices are for the first month then it goes down by $15 after that.

smilin and myself could possible be able to add about $10 amonth, i know its not much but we does have a BIG family to take care of.

In regards to the donation of monies, I may be able to sort some fundage out every once in a while...

Just curious though, if you get more money than is needed to pay for the server, what is it going to go towards?

yeah the extra money could be for that, or how about maybe if that money was saved up for a year so that when we come for the next massive lan party there is some money in there to help out with everything, and maybe including prize money in the lan. make it like a real tournament thing

haha yeah true that could be a problem, especially if we have the penalty's for being knifed
other then that i would agree with sic_as that the extra money could be used for prizes either for monthly or yearly champs. it would be a good idea however to try and keep a lil extra in the bank just in case there happens to be a 'slow' month with the funds

it could also be good if someone is really in need of some dough. Like on the verge of homeless or whatever.

I like the idea of extra money going towards an end of year prize, monthly prize is also good but can also get expensive as you need 12 of them then you need a major end of year prize also. But its also good to try and get a little bit of a kitty incase the money doesn't come in for the month. I will still be inputting $60 a month, but can I suggest we get a ventrilo or teamspeak server also. Most server host companies will give you a 10 slot server one with the server you purchase. It would be nice to be able to just talk to other guys without having to go in game. If not I will get one made up for DOA.

some of us will never be in the running for the comps.

steam voice chat is good, but its only one on one Ventrilo or Teamspeak you can have alot of people up to 500 in one server. the purpose for having it is so we can still communicate as a group using voice instead of typing. Was just a suggestion. I will pay for this on my own.
