New server

We've screwed around all wkend for no reward as yet, seems we'll have to wait till EGN are back at work on monday, too many fkn hassles to list. They do a few things that we dont like so dunno how it will all go. Like we gotta get permission every time we want to upload to the server instead of havin our own access, which is a bummer. The admin panel to run the server is really basic and gay as.

And no tag removal ffs. We might be EGN DOA gungame.... gay

I was goin thru maps at 8.30 yesterday morning and geoff was still doin sht till 3am. Fkn pain.

Anyways hopefully we'll get the url up and running tomorrow, load up our shit and away we go. Should be up tomorrow night, or Tuesday if there's more hassle. MMMMM thats the plan anyways

One funny thing.

We had gg5 on the new server and decided to delete it and re add it.

But

We started deleting gg5 from the current server by mistake, and bit by bit facets of the game started disapearing from the game lol.

Could'nt work out what was goin on. I got called in to check the server and peeps were on like 47 45 38 kills etc. The knife ftw and ending stuff was gone so it couldnt end lol. Funny as. We had to delete gg5 and reload it to get us going again

Ugh damn man. Thats shit theres so much hassle involved. You would think these guys would be more together? At least have a 7 day support line or something....

Someone as big as EGN i would think would have a support line etc.
Yeah server setup is a hassel. They should have a setup where gungame is preinstalled so when they first install the servers its ready to play on.

Huge hosting companies dont usually have terribly great support. I find older blokes who do it as a profession will host a smoother server, and better support.
