server's down

Hassles with quadeye sortin out new server boxes, laggin like crap while they're doin shit. I join Duckz and fk around like a dik, get mutant to join and we piss around packed server, no chat, no feel, no character, busy server, no feel or fun at all.

Slicker and smurf join and we fk about, mutant and me are carryon bein diks with comments bout the camping, porn sprays, no talk etc, no idea of fun at all, crackin up havin fun lol. Then we move on, next thing you know we are dominating, heaps of our server players join, till there is 15 or so. We are all crackin our jokes, baggin guys, carryon on etc. Havin a ball, packed server with all the regs not sayin a word, we start to dominate the comment and humour etc, funny as.

Duckz is a really "successful" server, always busy, but with only a few regs and mainly made up of randoms with fk all input, so friggin dull. No real comments, no humour, absolutely no "community" feel at all. No fkn nuthin, dull as. Makes you realise how fun it is to have a "community" based server. Don't give a shit if you are DOA, NaD, Sleven or no clanners, who gives a shit? Just join, play and have a good time. The duckz server was chocka full of pornsprays, camping like fk, tking, team slaying, pissed off dudes and no feeling of fun or friendliness, nuthin at all, weird as.

Once we had a shitload of guys in we were havin a ball, it was so funny, and it was so obvious that our practice of fun, laughter and fkn round was so foreign it was weird. Out of dozens of players and a fair few maps I picked up a couple of dudes that responded to the "community fun feel" and hopefully they will be on our server later when our shit settles down. Cookie and Jarred, cool dudes, the only ones to respond, talk, and have a laugh.

I thought it was just odd to see the difference between a busy server, and a really successful one at that, and one that was what I call a "community" based one, with feel, friendship, fun, chat etc. The difference is fkn huge, one is gungame, one is gungame with enjoyment, friendship, satisfaction and fun eh. Thats why it's so important to keep alive all our principals of enjoyment and fun eh, fkn awesome as. Such a massive difference in the feeling. We all rule, HAI!
