V1 Map.

Well, I just d/l Source SDK, and decided to make a map, which I called V1 and don't think is half bad, so plz leave your comments on the screenshots I have, and if you want to see more, just pst me.

Now, I initially made this map for GG, but for it to be able to be played as GG, do I have to load the mod up and insert it into the map or something like that, or if it's played on the server it will just automatically make it GG?

And the links are cause I couldn't figureout how to upload in the amount of time I was able to use this comp =\

Keep in mind that it's just my first try at it, and I only spent 5 hrs on it last night, but now I have made it cleaner, as in the ladders were too big, a few blocks were floating, and the lighting is better.

Also, the lighting in the corners is so that campers hiding there can be easily seen, as it used to be quite dark in those corners, and the spawns now have lights, to make it easier and not so dark. And also, the map is symmetric, everything is the same on either side of the map (when cutting diagonally), so as to make it fair for both sides, and the map is also fairly small, so as to not have un-necessary long rounds when 2 people are on either ends of the map.

fail fps...hope we dont all get 60 fps...

I have my fps limited to 60.

All of your maps are shit, I can't name a single good one, this map "V1" pwns all of your maps put together.

And yeah it's don't look half bad Justwon, might be a little bit open but I'll try and see it played on the server =D

60fps? I get 9 - 12 most of the time

And btw people, that map is my first experience with Source SDK, and thank you for the positive posts =]

And McLaggin, I have absolutely everything in the video settings on full, and running the GPU stress test my av. fps is 378

Why would you want to cap your fps anyway?!?!

ok no1 i have everything at full and no2 mines capped at 299. it doesnt go higher or lower. so .

Because my FPS is annoyingly big, and keeps switching from 320-380, so I capped it to 60, cause if it goes below 60, then I know there is a problem.

Do you want to send me or upload this map and I'll stick it on the server and see how it goes.

Thanks Mutant. I can send you my current copy, which isn't too different to the one shown, but I'd rather work on it a bit more, as I want to better the lighting, and then just do an over all polish on the whole thing.
