The new !give Thingy.

I use something like

bind z "!give; say !give; !equip; say !equip"

Something like that, my give key works on just about every server I've come across..
Also all the says ones don't appear in chat, not 100% why but they don't...

LOL, I completely forgot that you could bind 2 commands to the one key. I'm surprised that no one offered this solution through the thread.

EDIT: I just tried it out, the say ones are still coming up in chat. I don't know why yours omits the !give from chat...

I'll look in to it for you...

Back in the day I used to use this command for timeleft and nextmap instead of typing both separately:

bind p say "mani whats the next map and how much time we got left?; nextmap; timeleft"

Use to just come up with "mani whats the next map and how much time we got left?" in chat and display the next map and time left...

Try mixing them up a bit.

One of the few things you can do is bind a key to say something and kill yourself at the same time.

Generally if you make a bind for more than one command use the alias thing...

I think maybe that's what I used.

alise death "say FML; kill; wait; disconnect"

bind f "death"

F would make you say FML, Kill yourself, then disconnect you.

If you had !give as a saycmd it wouldn't appear in chat. WHen it is typed, it would just come up as nothing as though you typed it into console. Why not have both?

Hey can someone please explain how to apply the !give to a key in very very simple terms as i'm quite lost
cheers

1) press the ` button (just below the esc key on your keyboard and type the following:
2) bind e "say !give"
3) and press enter

change the e to what ever you want the give key to be.

if your press the ` key on your keyboard and nothing happens do the following:
1) press esc to get into the counterstrike menu
2) click options
3) click keyboard
4) click advance
5) click "enable developer console"

Then try the first bit again.

Couldn't have been put in simpler words, and basically '!give' gives you automatic and fast reload?

I tried this before but couldn't work out how to do it.
I wanted to have it so when I use !give it would say "I summon a new weapon" (Can't think of anything for exciting atm)
But I couldn't get it to work.
Anyone know how?
