yeah, Ive been on it last night and tonight. seems to be ok, generally, geoff has dropped the rates to 20K, and the TK punishments, but it generally seems like the normal DOA server.

Just got to fix a bit of a lagg issue that pops up every now and then, but its likely due to maps or to settings, hence all the new playing around with the server. Geoff must be really happy having to play with all this shit again, lol

I'm loving it being based in Brissie cause I've never had such a good ping. I had 5 on one map last night.

from a tassie boy, the ping sucks ass, lol. I get 5 - 20 on tassie servers (the whole... what.. 2 of them) but I am in about 50-ish for the new server, which is good. I had about three months of constant 100+ ping, due to some shit the IP company had done.. grrrr, so 50 aint bad for me

50 is great for Tas, i'm close to you and on 70 - 100 ping. It isn't too much of an issue, I seem to get pretty good rego, like it better than the last server

have noticed my ping has gone up with the new server, was around 50-60 last server and now is around 60-70.

yeh ping is slightly higher 80-100 instead of 30-50, but like i said, you shouldnt notice 50ms difference, your eyes arent that quick let alone your reflexes.....unless your some omnipotent person thing

i think i have found out why the server is laggin, and crashed last night.

I not to sure if they are running an FPS Booster. FPS Booster in case you dont know boosts the amount of FPS a server can send and recieve. By default all servers send and recieve 64 FPS, with an FPS Booster you increase it to default 256 then set fps_max to either 256, 512 or 1000 not that there is any/much differance between 256 and 1000?

Without it you can't run 100 tick effectivly nore will you get decent rego thus the server will sense an unbalance and crash in order to try and correct the values.

EDIT: Also i forgot to mention there is a memory leek in GunGame5.
This leak was primarily on Deathmatch and Elimination servers, but exists on all versions of EventScripts prior to this point.
